About Me
My name is Robert Berman. I'm a tour guide, an author and a writer, and occasionally I create stuff!
I'm a graduate of Harvard University (MPA), Baruch College (MBA), and Yeshiva University (BA).
As a freelance journalist, I have been published in New York Magazine, the Harvard Review, the Los Angeles Times, the Tablet, Ha’aretz, the Jerusalem Post, the Jewish Week, Moment Magazine, the Times of Israel, and the Jerusalem Report.
I am the author of:
- What Happens if I Miss a Kaddish: The Origin, Development and Putative Efficacy of Mourner’s Kaddish
- Min Taq Taq: A Collection of Arabic Idioms & Expressions – Palestinian Dialect
- Hagada LiFeseh: A Haggada for Passover that has Arabic Transliteration for all the songs.
I also created Globali: an educational tool to help people memorize world geography (sold out and out of print).
